Former Salida resident Erma Bea Hurley, 87, of Pueblo died March 11, 2017, at St. Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, surrounded by family.
She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Boise, Idaho, to Thomas and Sarah Orton.
She and her five siblings were raised in Blackfoot, Idaho.
In 1960, she moved to Colorado and on Aug. 19, 1961, she married Roy Hurley.
After 30 years of marriage, she was sealed for all time and eternity to her family, according to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. Hurley had lived a full and enriched life with her family and friends.
Family members said she was a beautiful, tender and loving woman.
They said she showed love to many and will always be loved.
Survivors include her husband; children, Gloria Spencer of Montana, Bryan Hurley of Salida, Nancy Hurley of California, Linda Hurley of Pueblo and Dianna Moschetti of Oregon; brother Bill Orton of Oklahoma; 20 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at noon March 21, 2017, at Fairview Cemetery in Salida.
Arrangements are with Lewis and Glenn Funeral Home in Salida.
