MCO donates to prom

Salida High School junior Emma Logan, 17, accepts a $1,000 donation from Monarch Community Outreach board member Susan Boucher. The donation will go toward the junior and senior prom, “Salidabration,” which will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday at Chaffee County Fairgrounds. Joining Emma were fellow SHS juniors Jessie Rawlins, 16, Gwen Ramsey, 16, Toby Lawson, 17 and Ethan NeJame-Zeiset, 16. Monarch Community Outreach board members Matthew Glower, Rich Boucher, and Tom McConaghy helped present the donation.
