Dogs perform for manor residents

Julie MacLeod and her border collie, Connor, jump over a hurdle in front of Mount Shavano Manor residents June 18 as part of a dog show agility class. Manor Executive Director Billie Jean Valdez said the class took place to help get the residents outside their units while keeping everyone spaced out for COVID-19 precautions. Laura Bussing, owner of Gone to the Dogs, helped organize the event and said she and her staff had been eagerly waiting for this day.
