Comet Neowise

Comet Neowise was visible above Mount Shavano Saturday. Dominic Gorie took the photo from his home and sent it to The Mountain Mail. It was closest to our planet on Wednesday night, “perigee,” when it was 64.3 million miles away. Photographers can share photos at themountainmail.com under the “Submissions” tab or by emailing them to pgoetz@themountainmail.com. Be sure to include when, where and by whom the photo was taken.

What a fantastic picture by Mr. Gorie! He should be a space photographer![smile]
