Corina Barr, daughter of Sean and Lisa Barr, is a senior at Buena Vista High School.
Corina enjoys yearbook class and has been the editor for both her junior and senior years. She is the president of National Honor Society and has received academic awards all four years of high school. She has also been a Link Crew leader for two years and received the Optimist Award her sophomore year.
Another activity that Corina enjoys is being a student aide at Avery Parsons Elementary School. She has helped in P.E., kindergarten, first and second grade classes and enjoys interacting with the kids and has been grateful to gain experience in the classroom. She has also participated in volleyball and track and field at BVHS. Corina also enjoys reading and spending time with her friends and family.
Corina plans on attending Dixie State University, University of Minnesota Duluth or Winona State University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.
BVHS Yearbook teacher, Ms. Jackson, says, “Corina Barr is one of the kindest, most organized, and best problem-solvers that I have ever met. Corina’s patience, expertise, and drive make her an asset in her school work and extracurricular activities. She’s going to be sorely missed next year, especially in Yearbook as she has been the senior editor for two years.”
