Dear Editor:

I would like to thank the following businesses for the contributions to Sarah’s Home through Living Waters Church of God: The Mixing Bowl and Walmart.

Sarah’s Home, located in Denver, is one of 37 residential programs available for sex-trafficking victims in the U.S.

More than 100,000 girls between the ages of 9 and 19 are trafficked in the United States. Simply put, human trafficking is modern-day slavery through force, fraud or coercion. Sex trafficking is the fastest growing business of organized crime in the world. There are only 438 beds for minors, and Sarah’s Home is meeting a critical need.

The contributions made for this program will help the home to help these girls learn to live as survivors instead of victims. So thank you.

These contributions were made through Living Waters Church. If anyone is interested in learning more, please contact us or Sarah’s Home in Denver.

Elsie Hopkins, church representative,
