Ryan L. Kelly of Buena Vista died at home on July 17, 2012, from complications of spina bifida.

He was born in Auburn, Calif., to Larry and Katie Kelly. He and his family moved to Buena Vista in 1994.

Kelly graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1999.

In his early years, he enjoyed skiing, jet skiing, four-wheeling, snow mobiling and fishing, and he even raced in the Collegiate Peaks Hill Climb.

Kelly worked at Walmart for 9 years.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and by his grandfather Walt Talso.

He is survived by his parents; grandmother, Palma Talso; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

No services will be held. His ashes will be spread in his favorite place, Carmel, Calif.

    my dearest gunner i love u so much and i just cant believe u r gone. u r forever in my heart. i got the ring. ur dad shipped it to me. along with ur chain, i will see u again and u wont ever have to worry about a wheel chair again and we can run and swim together. ill always be ur country girl. till we meet again my gunner ... rest in peace...
