Salida marijuana cultivator Pure Greens announced Tuesday that it has acquired Nature’s Medicine Recreational Dispensary.

All nine Nature’s Medicine employees have been retained by Pure Greens, according to a press release.

The most visible changes, the release stated, will be a larger variety of Colorado cannabis goods, enhanced store layout and pricing that is competitive with Front Range dispensaries.

Nature’s Medicine is the second dispensary in Pure Greens’ portfolio. The other is Mile High Green Cross in Denver.

Nature’s Medicine, 230 W. 16th St., opened as a medical dispensary in 2010 and became Salida’s first recreational dispensary in 2014. Pure Greens has a 24-acre campus near Salida.

The dispensary will remain open during the transition.
