Salida City Council will conduct a public hearing and vote on an ordinance expanding the duties and compensation of the city treasurer and expanding the duties of the Audit Committee during its meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers, 448 E. First St.

The Audit Committee would be renamed the Finance Committee if the ordinance passes.

Council also is scheduled to appoint members to the Public Art Commission.

Other agenda items include:

• A resolution changing the city’s public records policy.

• First reading of an ordinance concerning the transfer of marijuana business licenses.

• Public hearing of an appeal of a Planning Commission decision regarding a conditional use at 440 W. Grand Ave.

• Requests for community funding. Council has already approved some requests for community funding, budgeted at a total of $40,000 in the city’s 2019 budget.
