The Chaffee County Unmanned Aerial Systems Advisory Board and Chaffee County Economic Development Corp. will host the fourth annual Spring Public Safety Roundup Sunday and Monday at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort in Nathrop.

Attendees will learn of the latest developments in integration and application of unmanned aerial systems, also known as drones, in public safety operations, a press release stated.

More than 90 public safety, search and rescue, emergency management, first responders, medical industry experts and other UAS professionals and businesses will attend.

The conference will include topics such as:

• Fire and first responder situations.

• Medical equipment and laboratory sample UAS delivery options.

• Wildland firefighting.

• Law enforcement operations.

• Emergency operations.

• Emergency search and rescue.

• Counter-UAS technology.

Sponsors for the event include the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and the Colorado Center of Excellence for Advanced Technology Aerial Firefighting.
