I was on city council 2000-2001 and always felt Danny was very courteous when he came to meetings. I ran against him for Mayor and felt I couldn't have had a better opponent. I will miss him and want to send my condolences to his wife and family....Dale Decatur

Danny's love was felt from the the beautiful town of Salida,Colorado all the way to Kansas City,MO area where his in-laws reside. I was fortunate to spend this past Christmas with Danny and his wife Sheryl. He embraced us as we were his own true blood. Story's of your town and the surrounding area's were told with excitement and a sincere true love for his town. We will truley miss this man in our family as you will miss this man in your town. Danny was as honest and caring as any person I have ever met. My heart pours out to all of his friends and associates whom will miss this man as we will. "Cousin we love you and thank you for the times we shared !!" Dwain Strickland - Lone Jack,MO
