Dr. Vanna K. Irving of Salida Family Medicine will see obstetric patients as a visiting physician beginning May 4 at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s Buena Vista Health Center, 28374 CR 317.

Irving is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in surgical obstetrics.

She is on the medical staff at HRRMC and will deliver babies at the Salida hospital.

“I look forward to providing the residents of northern Chaffee County with convenient obstetrical care and delivering their babies close to home at the Salida hospital,” Irving said in a press release.

The hospital’s Buena Vista Health Center is a full-service rural health clinic that provides primary care for all ages, lab and imaging services and rehabilitation.

The clinic also offers specialty services including psychiatry, orthopedics, gynecology, internal medicine, pain management and cardiology.

Irving will see patients at the Buena Vista Health Center on Fridays.
