AV Helping Hands receives $2,000

High Country Bank presents a $2,000 check to Ark Valley Helping Hands Wednesday. The organization provides volunteer services and social activities for seniors in Chaffee County that help them to maintain their independence. Board member Dee Dubin said $1,000 will go toward the annual Embracing Aging event, for which the bank is a major sponsor. The rest will go toward funding Ark Valley Helping Hands operations.
