During the past week The Mountain Mail has received some spectacular photos of mountain wildlife. In fact, there are so many that we thought we’d group them together so our readers can see what our local photographers have been shooting.

Whether these creatures are in our backyards, along the trail or close to the river, one thread that seems to run through our community is the love of nature.

Thanks to all who submit these photos and more – we couldn’t do it without you. Please keep them coming and we’ll run them whenever we can.

Photographers can share their photos by emailing them to pgoetz@themountainmail.com or clicking the “Submissions” tab at themountainmail.com. Be sure to include when, where and by whom the photo was taken.
